Hey there Dream Warriors -
It's time to unveil the third book in our bonus bundle, but for those who just joined us, a quick recap:
You recently unlocked our first Stretch Goal, which means everyone at the digital deluxe tier and up will receive a bundle of free digital comics.
How many books depends on YOU, because we're giving away 1 free book per every 50 backers. As of this writing, that means you're getting at least 4... but we are close to adding a fifth!
That gorgoues piece of work is the cover by Guilherme Raffide (line art) and Damir Rošić (colors) for the upcoming CTHULHU INVADES GRIMM’S FAIRY TALES—CONVENTION PREVIEW!
I wrote the cover story (“Snow White and the Old God”), which may be the Clay Adams-iest piece I’ve written in a while.
Constant pain in my ass Mick Beyers provided the art, with colors by Gab Contreras and letters by Jerome Gagnon.
The full book will be coming to Kickstarter soon, with a ton more great stories, but if you’d like a sneak peek of mine, you can try to grab the preview at a con this summer…
…OR you could be a digital-deluxe-and-up backer and get it as part of our digital bundle!
I'm super happy with how this one turned out. Thanks to Travis Gibb for inviting me to be a part and allowing us to share the con preview with you.
Bonus Books #4 coming soon...
STRETCH GOAL #3
We are creeping up on Stretch Goal #2, so now is a good time to announce Stretch Goal #3!
If we reach $12,500, you will unlock an additional 2 story pages, making DREAMQUEST 2 a 52-page book!
This will give Mick and Alex a little more room to breathe on the action-packed big climax, so if you know anyone who would enjoy DREAMQUEST, please send them our way!
FRIENDS OF FRIED
ADAGIO: All you need to do is dream
Felipe Cagno is back on Kickstarter with his latest project, and it looks like a another winner. Fans of his series The Few and the Cursed know to expect quality, and this one is no different.
Here's the pitch:
"In the near future (closer every day) an app/social network called ADAGIO allows users to post their dreams online - either pre-recorded or in live streams watched by millions across the world.
It's the end of produced entertainment as we know it today. No more movies, no more TV shows, no more TikToks, no more streaming services, all people watch now are DREAMS.
And fame is within reach for those that can have lucid and serialized dreams. Think about it: no budget constraints, no locations out of reach, no actors, we are only limited by our own imagination.
Crazy Latte Thing Called Love ☕A Manic Romantic Thriller☕
In his latest campaign, writer Adriano Ariganello asks "How much can you really know about a person you've just met?"
Crazy Latte Thing Called Love is a 32-page full-colour one-shot where Liam, a lovelorn insurance adjuster, doesn't care to answer that question. He falls deeply in love with a barista, Ruby, who barely knows him. As his love falls deeper into obsession, he gets dragged into a world he was not prepared to enter.
Adriano is offering some pretty sweet variant covers by talented artists who have worked for DC, Marvel, IDW, Zenescope, Avatar and more - and bundle deals so you can collect them all.
The preview pages ooze quality, and personally, I love that Adriano's lettering looks top-notch too! This was a pretty quick back from me, so if this description hits you like a jolt of caffeine...

Hey there, Dream Warriors!
Wanted to let you know how you can pick up a killer crossover print, but first...
Last time out, I promised you a sneak peek at Mick Beyers' linework for the interiors. It's tough to pick out spoiler-free pages to show (this is a pretty action-packed installment), but Mick and I narrowed it down to these two:
I think Mick is just getting better and better...so let's hit that next stretch goal and give this guy some room to breathe on the big action sequence, huh?
Meanwhile...
Sometimes I write things that aren’t Lovecraft related.
Friend of Fried Rob Multari just launched his latest campaign for NIGHT WOLF Volume 2, and he’s lined up a slew of great writers to contribute short stories:
Not bad company to be in!
Really proud of how my story turned out, and many thanks to Rob for inviting me to play in his sandbox.
Right now these extras are digital only, but Rob will be unlocking each story as part of the physical book as he hits certain stretch goals.
Here's how you can help that happen AND get a killer...
Crossover Print!
Okay. So, I'm live with DREAMQUEST.
Rob just launched NIGHT WOLF, which has a story by yours truly.
And besides being the artist on DREAMQUEST, Mick is also running a campaign for the collected edition of his series, A QUEEN OF MARS.
Since we're all live with a project right now, the three of us are offering this awesome exclusive 5x7" print drawn by Mick and colored by Gab Contreras that Rob has dubbed BEAUTIES AND THE BEAST!
Featuring Phaidor of QUEEN OF MARS, Winter from DREAMQUEST, and Night Wolf of, uh, NIGHT WOLF
Everyone who backs the NIGHT WOLF, A QUEEN OF MARS and DREAMQUEST campaigns will get this awesome print for FREE! Physical tier backers of all campaigns will get a physical copy of the print, and digital backers will receive a hi-res digital version.
Born into the outcast breed of werewolves known as the Monoki, eighteen-year-old Rodney Marcelli is reluctantly pulled into an ancient war between good and evil, during a modern time where the line has blurred.
With the help of Snow Paw, the Pureblood Monoki, and the supernatural evil slayer, Night Hunter, Rod must learn to master his newly found lycanthropy and mysterious kinetic energy power that only he possesses. Rod must fight the Dark Covenant in order to avenge his friends and family, and to save the girl he loves from the master vampire, Lord Malice.
A Queen of Mars Vol 1 is a NSFW sword-and-planet adventure based on the public domain works of Edgar Rice Burroughs' world of Barsoom. As the life of Barsoomians are without natural limit, those that have not met their end by violence or misadventure are permitted 1000 years to live. At that time you are expected to make pilgrimage down the mysterious River Iss, to the Valley of Dor and the Martian after life. So has Kahr Kagut, a Jedwar of Thark made his way to heaven, where he hopes to die...
But Kahr Kagut is not alone! The Princess Phaidor, daughter of the late Matai Shang, Holy Hakkador of the Therns, and presumed dead herself has returned to land of her birth, not to die, but to conquer...As fate has brought them together, Phaidor recruits the Thark to her own goals, wresting control of her people, the Therns, from the False Hekkador Eretor Thraug. All before they rescue Isdar, Princess of the first born and a prisoner in the ancient and deadly city of Zalah.
Okay, that's all for now. I owe you the big reveal on the next couple of bonus books. And if you subscribe to my newsletter, you might have gotten a sneak preview of #3 yesterday.
More to come...
As always, thanks for the support!

Hey there Dream Warriors -
It's time to unveil the second book in our bonus bundle, but for those who just joined us, a quick recap:
You recently unlocked our first Stretch Goal, which means everyone at the digital deluxe tier and up will receive a bundle of free digital comics.
How many books depends on YOU, because we're giving away 1 free book per every 50 backers. Right now, that means you're getting at least 4.
Writer Frank Martin describes PIPE CREEPERS as "quirky Lovecraft 'blue collar' horror, but here's what I said about it when the book came out:
"Frank Martin is a creator to watch. PIPE CREEPERS grabs you from page one and slowly reels you in with a great modern twist on an old genre. Lovecraftian horror has never been this much fun."
Here's the official pitch: Plumbers enter the basement of a creepy mansion and discover horrifying secrets on a cosmic scale. Featuring art by JC Grande and Eugen Betivu, PIPE CREEPERS is Super Mario Bros. vs Cthulhu!
We are thrilled that Frank is allowing us to share the first issue with you. As our way of saying thanks, we wanted to let you know that he's back on Kickstarter with his latest:
Grimm Space is a sci-fi/fantasy mashup series that takes classic fairy and folk tales and re-imagines them in a Star Wars-esque universe.
After trading their P1-Nocchio robot for a mysterious NAV unit, the crew of the Beanstalk traveled to uncharted space, where they discovered a giant alien ship. Their mechanic, Jack, snuck onboard and stole a large golden egg, which they hoped would come with a big payday. The crew celebrated the unexpected score over a meal when the egg began to crack.
This 60-page trade paperback picks up where the story left off as a golden creature hatches from the egg and attacks the Beanstalk crew in a panic, causing the ship to crash on a backwater planet. Now stranded, the crew makes a deal with a local king to track down the creature so that they can repair their ship and continue on their way.
That's all for now. More Lovecraft coming in Bonus Book #3, plus a sneak peek at some of Mick's latest linework for DREAMQUEST in our next update.
Thanks again for the support!

Hey there Dream Warriors -
If you just joined us: Welcome! And thanks for backing.
If you've been with us from the beginning: thanks again!
While we wait to slay that next stretch goal, I wanted to start sharing more details about the bonus bundle you unlocked for Stretch Goal #1.
Everyone at the digital deluxe tier and up will receive a bundle of free digital comics. How many books depends on YOU, because we're giving away 1 free book per every 50 backers. Right now, that means you're getting at least 4.
Our first book comes to us from our friends at Dren Productions...
While we can't share the whole graphic novel with you, Dren has offered up a healthy preview that we think you're going to love. Here's how they pitch the book:
"Back in 1957, Ed Wood brought us a movie about aliens who tried to raise the dead to destroy humanity in order to prevent us from causing a galaxy destroying weapon that they believed we would one day create. This was Plan 9 from Outer Space.
Obviously, plans 1 through 8 failed, and (spoiler alert, but frankly the movie has been out for 63 years now, so there shouldn't be much to spoil) so did Plan 9. But what happened in the years since 1957? Did the aliens just give up? Were they going to cease their plans to stop us and save the galaxy? Of course not. Almost 60 years have passed, and in that time, they have attempted to destroy us nearly 50 more times, and humanity has become quite adept at fighting them off. But today, they are coming back for their 59th plan, a plan that is so nefarious, it just might work.
How will the aliens try to destroy humanity this time? Just look in your hand. That little device that's always by your side and that you could never live without. They will destroy us using our own cell phones."
Clay again. While I can't tell you if the aliens succeed this time... I can tell you that Dren is back on Kickstarter with a sequel. One they call...
This time out, Captain Jack Trent leads a cadre of Earth-based explorers into the cosmos to search for a new planet to call home. Little do they know they're being followed by The Invaders, whose plans to destroy humanity have only intensified over time. When a seemingly random meteor shower leaves the crew stranded in space, Captain Trent will discover the Invaders aren't the only aliens out for human blood...
PLAN 79 looks like another winner in Dren's inspired series of "B-Movies on paper," so if you want to say thanks for the free book...
Kurt Zauer is back on Kickstarter with the latest issue of his supernatural horror story about Aneksi, the ghost of Cleopatra's top assassin. Aneksi died defending Cleopatra against the Romans and has lived as a ghost for centuries. Over time, she's learned to rejoin the world of the living. She is at the cusp of finding purpose in the modern world of the living... but she is bound by an ancient curse to a demon named Sabanion. As Aneksi pushes more into the world of the living, she must drag Sabanion with her. Sabanion is a Wrath Demon, capable of incredible destruction. Let's just say he complicates things...
If 36 pages of ghosts, Egyptian mythology, magic, demons, military tough guys and ancient secrets sounds like your kinda comic...
Kat Calamia and birthday boy Phil Falco practically live on Kickstarter. As in, they are live all the time. This time they've brought along living legend Terry Moore as cover artist for their reimagining of The Wizard of Oz. Here's the pitch:
Glinda the Good Witch was once loved by all. But since The Wizard left the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Lion in charge...Oz is not what it once was. Looking for a scapegoat for their problems, the Emerald City turns on Glinda...literally burning her at the stake in her own Witch Trial. In her final hours, the only person Glinda has left to turn to is...the Wicked Witch of the West. A misunderstood outcast who wants to mourn her sister in peace. She wants nothing to do with the city that turned their back on her. Now the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch must team up to find the one person who can save Oz: Dorothy...and the two witches might just FALL IN LOVE along the way!
If that sounds like a piece of comic book magic...
